Spokane garage door FAQ.

Straight answers about pricing, dispatch times, what's repairable, and how Spokane Door Rescue actually works.

Can you actually come out today?

Most weekdays, yes — particularly in the Spokane / Spokane Valley core. Urgent requests (broken springs, off-track doors, trapped cars) are prioritized over routine quotes. Call (509) 555-0138 for fastest dispatch.

How much does Spokane garage door repair cost?

Most Spokane garage door repairs run roughly $155–$377 with a national average around $263 according to Angi's 2026 garage door repair cost guide. Spring replacement is typically $150–$350, opener repair $100–$325, and panel replacement $250–$800+ depending on door.

Are you the technicians?

No. Spokane Door Rescue is a local lead-request service that connects homeowners with independent garage door technicians. Licensing, insurance, warranties, and final pricing are provided by the responding company — not by this site.

Should I try to fix a broken spring myself?

Please don't. Torsion springs store significant energy and consistently cause some of the worst DIY home-repair injuries. A tech with proper winding bars can do it safely in 30–60 minutes.

My opener hums but the door doesn't move. What's wrong?

Usually a stripped main gear, a seized motor, or a disconnected trolley. Pull the red emergency release cord — if the door moves easily by hand, the opener is the problem and the door itself is fine.

Why won't my door close all the way?

Almost always the photo-eye safety sensors near the floor. Wipe the lenses, check for steady (usually green) LEDs on both sides, and make sure nothing is leaning against them. If both sensors are aligned and clean, the next likely cause is the close-limit setting on the opener.

What ZIPs do you cover?

All of Spokane (99201–99224), Spokane Valley (99206, 99212, 99216, 99037), Liberty Lake (99019), Mead (99021), Cheney (99004), Airway Heights (99001), Medical Lake (99022), Deer Park (99006), and Newman Lake (99025).

Do you handle commercial garage doors?

Several providers in our network handle light-commercial rolling steel and sectional doors. Note your application on the request and we'll route to a commercial-capable tech.

Do you sell new doors?

Some providers we route to do. If you're past the point of repair (a 25-year-old door with rotten panels), the responding tech can quote new doors during the same visit.

Is the (509) 555-0138 number really live?

Not yet. This is a placeholder number for site preview. Before the site goes live for lead capture, this number will be replaced with a dispatch line connected to your lead routing setup.

How do you handle my information?

We collect only what's needed to route your request — name, phone, ZIP, and a short description of the issue. We pass it to the matched provider so they can call you back. We do not sell information to third parties.

Do you offer warranties?

Warranties are issued by the responding provider, not by Spokane Door Rescue. Most reputable Spokane garage door companies warranty parts and labor for 1 year on standard repairs; high-cycle springs and full opener replacements often carry longer warranties.
